This place is great. I've been coming here for a very long time. I love the historic feel it has; makes me feel like I'm experiencing some of the old Hollywood days. I'm surprised The Dresden has survived this long, especially in this area during the late 1980s and 1990s. The booths feel/look so much like the old Hollywood days from movies. The food and service are always great. The lamb entree is really good. We've had the pepper steak numerous times; that is definitely one of our favorites. Not a whole lot has changed here within the last twenty-five years. It's still a great place.

I love the Dresden, even if it is louder than a World Series game at Dodger Stadium. There are some slightly complex rules about how to order and where to stand, so just know that if you’re standing you’re probably in the way, and if you’re sitting you need to order from the server, and if you’re sat at the bar then you may proceed like normal. Everyone is super nice and if you don’t already know about the movie filmed there and the double act that’s the house band then please allow me to be Jack Black in “High Fidelity” and quickly shuffle you toward the film “Swingers” before admitting to anyone you didn’t know what I was talking about. A good drinking game in here would be to swig your martini when you hear anyone mentioning “Swingers was filmed here”, or looking like they were frozen in time from when “Swingers” came out, or swigging back when you can’t help making eye contact with the massive “Swingers” poster looming overhead like a cross at church. You’ll be swinging in no time!

Great drinks! I'm very picky about drinks, ingredients used/selected and presentation. And they were awesome on all fronts. It's just a special vibe being there.

Best Italian food I have ever had. From the appetizers to dessert. Just perfect. It was just me n my fiancé and the ambience was very romantic.

This was the first time I've been. The filet mignon was very good, so tender. Very courteous and attentive waiter. Parking lot behind is $3.50, or $4.50 for valet. We went at just before 6 PM and they said the self parking lot was full and they made me valet park.
